Clear Silicone

Clear Silicone RTV 500 is a single component, silicone adhesive sealant which cures to a tough, rubbery solid at room temperature  on exposure to water vapor  in the air (acetoxy cure).  RTV  #500 Clear Silicone  can be applied overhead without sagging.

Adheres to clean substrates such as: metal, glass, most woods, ceramics, painted surfaces and many other substrates.

Application Instructions:

APPLICATIONS:   Gaskets in heating and refrigeration  units, applying brackets or nameplates, sealing windows, formed-in-place  gaskets, anti-abrasion coating, sealing marine cabins, caulking joints and applying ceramic wear tiles.  RTV #500 can also be used as a sealant for venting high efficiency furnaces.
