Product Description:

1618 Gel is a clear (translucent) very high viscosity 100% solids epoxy formulated for filling large cracks and joints, and patching.  1618 Gel is an easy to mix 2 to 1 by volume ratio and its high non-sag viscosity allows for use on vertical applications such as troweled covings and patching or cracked concrete risers or overhead repairs. 1618 Gel is very resistant to most chemicals and solvents.   1618 Gel is non-blushing and completely compatible with our 1618 Epoxy Floor Coating.

Application Instructions:

Clean surface by shot-blasting, grinding or sanding to provide clean and open surface.

  1. Thoroughly mix measured amounts of 2 parts of Part-A Resin with 1 part of Part-B Hardener by volume until streak free.
  2. Scrape side and bottom of pail frequently during mixing to ensure a good mix. Mix only enough that can be applied in 15 minutes.
  3. Apply mixed epoxy with squeegee, pour spout container, or squeeze bottles.
  4. Use backer rod or prefill larger cracks with sand to help minimize loss of material into sub-base
